*  Otro registro no considerado un ''DISCO Album'' pero con unos arreglos y orquestación proto Disco que se grabaron allá por inicios de los 70's, dos interesante álbumes de Ray "funky trumpet" Davies, no el cantante principal de ''The Kinks'', primero hay un álbum de ''Themes From The Exorcist'' y otras de películas, todos temas familiares del cine de a principios de los 70's , escritos por artistas como Michel Legrand y Lalo Schifrin, pero presentados aquí por ''Button Down Brass'' de Ray en un estilo muy genial ,Funk comprimido, como los mejores modos de crimen/policía de la época, pero con muchos toques individuales que hacen que las canciones sean muy diferentes a las versiones originales! Los títulos incluyen "Point Blank", "Enter The Dragon", "Klute", "French Connection", "Tubular Bells", "Cops & Robbers" y "Beyond Tomorrow".

''Flashpoint'' continúa con algunos grandes temas cinematográficos nuevamente presentados en el modo mágico de Ray Davies, un enfoque funky de big band que hace que el disco sea tan convincente como el álbum ''American Cop Shows'' de Henry Mancini, pero quizás también más maravilloso. Los títulos incluyen "Kojak", "Big Boss", "Man With The Golden Gun", "Mr Majestyk", "Magnum Force", "Fist Of Fury" y "Airport 1975".
