Tommy Stewart - Tommy Stewart 1976 Complete Lp

*  Tommy Stewart nació el 19 de noviembre de 1939,se sintió atraído por la música a una edad muy temprana gracias a su madre, compositora, vocalista y directora de coro. En 1964 tocó con Fred Wesley y miembros de la banda 55th Army. Escribió y compuso para televisión e incluso tocó con el artista de grabación Blue Note Duke Pearson. En 1973 arregló y compuso una partitura musical llamada "The Burning of Atlanta" para Buddha Records y más tarde, trabajó como arreglista, productor, intérprete y escritor para artistas como Clarence Carter, Candy Staton, Johnny Taylor, Major Lance, Eddie Kendricks. , Luther Ingram, Millie Jackson, Flip Wilson, Roy Gaines, Tamiko Jones y muchos otros. El LP homónimo, grabado en 1976 en Atlanta y Memphis con piezas como "Bump And Hustle Music" ha etiquetado a Stewart como el innovador del disco-funk.
